With a young team this season, Heritage coach Kent Howenstine said, “We have been improving all season long. The girls are swimming a lot of different events and that helps them become a better swimmer.”

With the team beginning to get wins in close races, Coach Howenstine said, “They are beginning to act like veterans.”

The team has several swimmers who have qualified for the state meet already. In the 200 Free relay, the team of Ariana Shokoohi, Hannah Fleming, Ella Banning, and Jean Cho has qualified. Shokoohi has also qualified in the 200 Free, 50 Free and 100 Free. Fleming has also qualified in the 50 Free and the 100 Free.
